TripAdvisor, a leading travel application website, recently released its annual list of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Asia for 2023. Among the honorees is My Khe, which ranks eighth on the list with an impressive average score of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
The prestigious Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best awards, which recognize top destinations, hotels and restaurants, are determined based on votes from readers and experts worldwide over 12 months. The awards are announced throughout the year in different categories.
To qualify for the top 10, the beaches must meet specific criteria, including being featured on TripAdvisor for at least one year and receiving the highest number of votes. Additionally, any honoree found to be engaging in fraudulent reviews or threatening users with incorrect comments will have their title stripped.
According to the Da Nang web portal, My Khe beach boasts a length of approximately 900 meters and is the “busiest and most familiar” beach for both locals and tourists. Located more than three kilometers east of the city center, across the Han River bridge, My Khe is renowned for its fine sand, gentle slope, clear and warm water all year round, and light waves, making it an ideal spot for swimming.
Tourists have praised My Khe as “one of the most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia” and have been known to rave about its natural beauty. The remaining nine beaches honored by TripAdvisor include Radhanagar and Benaulim in India, Kata Noi, Nai Harn and Chaweng in Thailand, Haeundae in Korea, Kelingking in Indonesia, Yonaha Maehama in Japan, and Mirissa in Sri Lanka.
