The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 (DIFF 2026) is officially scheduled to take place from May 30 to July 11, 2026, marking one of the longest and most ambitious editions in the history of the festival.

Under the theme “Da Nang – United Horizons,” DIFF 2026 promises to be more than a fireworks competition—it is a powerful cultural statement, celebrating Da Nang’s expanded identity, global connectivity, and future-forward vision.

A Festival That Reflects a New Da Nang

The theme “United Horizons” was announced at a press conference hosted by the Da Nang People’s Committee on January 7, 2026, symbolizing a new era for the city following its administrative expansion with Quang Nam Province.

This theme conveys a harmonious convergence of nature, heritage, culture, architecture, and modern urban development, positioning Da Nang as a dynamic destination where tradition and innovation move forward together.

DIFF 2026 tells the story of a city redefining itself—open, connected, and confidently stepping onto the international stage.

The festival will unfold across six spectacular competition nights, each designed as a chapter in Da Nang’s development journey:

DIFF 2026 will feature 10 elite fireworks teams from around the world, including both returning champions and first-time participants, ensuring diversity in artistic styles and technical execution:

Notably, four teams will make their DIFF debut, adding fresh perspectives and creative energy to the competition.

Iconic Location on the Han River

The fireworks displays will once again illuminate the skies above the Han River Port area, with the main grandstand and performance stage located along Tran Hung Dao Street—a familiar and iconic setting that has become synonymous with DIFF.

This riverside venue offers an immersive viewing experience, blending spectacular pyrotechnics with Da Nang’s modern skyline.
